Modelled around a system of modular spaces arranged to suit the needs of the client and the limited buildable area on this semi-rural site in Maldon,

the design treads a line between meeting the client's modern design and eco-sensitive ideals and the area's strict controls to 'retain period character'.

It has a simple and flexible layout which makes the most of the northerly aspect and efficient use of space.
